Oh that is fine! I wasn’t positive I wanted the Lionfish anyways. I definetly want the Trigger and Eel. Is there anything I could put with them or should I stop there?
I actually had a snowflake eel and trigger fish in my 50 gallon tank. They seemed to get along fine but im not sure about the lionfish. I was always told that they’re not big fans of other fish.
Although the lion and the eel or the trigger and the eel. Triggers should really not be kept with lions only because the trigger may nip spines from your motionless lion and really cause some damage.
If you choose to go with the eel and the trigger you cannot house small fish of any kind. Your eel will make quick work of them. The larger, hardier angel species do well with Triggerfish, as do many wrasse, surgeonfish, and larger damselfish species (Just be sure that the fish are larger than the eel and have time to grow., I’ve housed damsels with my snowflakes with no issues.
