lol CRAZAY most exspensive fish aren’t that nice are thay? lol The most exspensive I’ve spent on a fish was 3.75 pounds for a hillstream loach LOL I’ve seen lionfish for 25 pound =/ and all sorts of koi for like 10 pounds =/ it seems people judge fish on qualtity not like me I like odd balls =]] Im currently working on an oddball tank

i use to do work experience in n aquarium and they had about 1m long spiny eel for $3000 AU
I’ve seen koi going well over £5000 and to me they didn’t look any different but my mate who was with me was nearly having an ****** just looking at them
I think the most I’ve paid is only peanuts in comparison to that, I did spend £1000 on a group of zebra plecs for breeding.
Then ended up getting my money back cos it turned out this wonderful supplier was talking sh!te and couldn’t supply them.
I have paid around £100 for top quality adult discus before

and one female Ogongoi about 5 years old She was roughly $4,300
I have seen Koi going in excess of $100K US at the shows I attend. (This is not uncommon for certain breeders of show quality koi)
In one of the local fish stores various moray’s going for $500 and up
The same store had a Black Pacu around 27″ in a hugh display case. He was going for $2500
The most expensive fish I’ve bought was a young Frontosa. It was $20.00. (I believe that’s about 40 pounds.) The most expensive I have seen was a Clown Triggerfish that was $160.00.
