What can I use to decorate my marine aquarium?

triggerfish
joe j asked:

I’m going to get rid of my aggressive triggerfish. I have a 60 gallon tank with 60 pounds of live rock. I only want natural decorations but do not have the money to spend on special lighting for corals and such things. What type of natural decorations can I buy that will fair well in my tank with my standard flourecent lighting that came with the tank? I was thinking of sea sponges but do they require special light?
what are lps corals exactly

go for lps corals, most of them need no special lighting and are real hardy..
something like star polps and pulsing xenia, are a good starter coral.

sponges are not a good choice.. if they die off for any reason they give off toxins.also make sure they never come in contact with air, as this clogs their pores and they will suffocate.

i run my tank on flourescents..
    i have
    pulsing xenia
    green star polyps
    metalic star polyps.
    white star polyps.
    sun coral
    red ball sponge
    green hammer coral..

    all doing well.
